Preventive Maintenance
ITDM (Individually Tailored Die Maintenance) has been developed to achieve ‘Reliability Growth’ in Maintained Dies. This is achieved by focusing on improvement of the dynamic characteristics of each die in every die maintenance event, the die reliability growth can be achieved within it’s life cycle. Through long term data collection on static characteristic issues found during maintenance, the next generation of dies can also be improved by feeding the lessons learned into die design.
The ITDM process can be implemented on both new and existing facilities.
In-Line Maintenance
FSDM (Full Service Die Maintenance) takes ITDM one step further. The philosophy of FSDM is to maintain the die tools completely throughout their production life. With this service ThyssenKrupp Drauz Nothelfer provide die breakdown cover, containment actions, downtime analysis and detailed documentation of all problems for feedback to the PDM (Preventative Die Maintenance) team. This ensures that all issues are captured on the Die maintenance schedule.
