A key part of the ThyssenKrupp Drauz Nothelfer philosophy is 'Lifecycle Ownership', as part of this philosophy Nothelfer UK offer a comprehensive Maintenance package. This service is offered as either an integral part of our offer for new facility supply or alternatively as an individual service designed to meet a specific customer requirement for existing equipment.
Within the service option for maintenance, we offer inspections, maintenance, repair and trouble shooting for already existing systems. For our customers, this service gives an increase in productivity due to optimised availability. With the use of qualified processes, methods and specialist expertise, we ensure enhanced functionality of the equipment.
Nothelfer UK have developed standardised products that are currently being utilised in production enviroments throughout industry. This service is equally applied to both Automated Body Assembly systems and Press Tools.
ThyssenKrupp Drauz Nothelfer utilises R&M proceedures to ensure that Automated assembly equipment performs to the highest levels of technical availability.
Within Nothelfer UK, a detailed knowledge & understanding of the Reliability & Maintainability characteristics of our equipment/facilities is used to develop & constantly enhance the Maintenance requirements. This is achieved primarily by the collection & analysis of actual production data from the shop floor on an ongoing basis, but also involves frequent site visits to discuss the data with plant.
Using this historical understanding of our scope of supply allows us to identify & tailor the required maintenance packages that yield benefits to maintenance. These benefits include the continuous process of optimising the preventive maintenance packages to minimise crisis maintenance. This in turn will yield inherent availability opportunities, as well as allowing us to monitor & statistically identify/adjust the spares holding. R&M field data feed back also proves invaluable with regards to the constant updating of relevant Machinery Failure Mode Effects Analysis (MFMEA) documentation, in conjunction with driving reliability growth at both the system integrator & sub-system/commodity suppliers. Training is also tailored inline with our comprehensive understanding of our equipment/facilities through the use of R&M. All these benefits are applicable to both current & future applications.
The above activities will therefore lend themselves to a lowering of the maintenance cost via increasing the reliability and maintainability, which is tracked on an ongoing basis via Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modelling.
