Assembly Technologies

At Drauz-Nothelfer, our goal is to be aware of how to apply any new Technology, or process any new Material, as soon as it is ready for production implementation.

In some cases, we have developed the technology itself (for example, Roller Hemming), so fully understand how it should be applied.

By involvement at the very start of the Design process, using Simultaneous or Concurrent Engineering techniques, Drauz-Nothelfer is able to ensure that our Customers can take advantage of proven Best Practice techniques, and can ensure that their Designs are optimised to make full use of the advantages offered by the new Materials or Techniques.

It is very important to note that the success of any Automated Joining System application is very heavily dependent on the accuracy, repeatability and consistency of the parts to be joined, as the Automated Processes are unlikely to able to correct any errors within the supplied parts, or to accommodate either unpredictable variations or lack of dimensional capability within these parts.
