ThyssenKrupp Drauz Nothelfer implements stable technologies within its applications. We provide proven experience of all applied Tecnologies from automotive projects.


INVAR Tools for CFRP Parts
We support our Customers with CFRP Dies which are accurate to the model and are easy to change. Our CFRP Dies are designed for high volume component parts.Our position within the ThyssenKrupp organisation has enabled us to develop a close relationship with ThyssenKrupp Steel. Thus, we can offer Die manufacture using INVAR material.


Resin Dies
We design Resin or Hybrid Dies for series production of low and medium volumes with metal components. With the aid of virtual simulation of pressing parts (e.g. PAMStamp), we can assure minimal cost investments and guarantee short-time delivery periods.


Machining
ThyssenKrupp Drauz Nothelfer offers engineering and machining techniques with conventional tools (e.g. high speed cutting, etc.). These machining techniques maybe used to process Aluminium, Aluminium Lithium, Titanium and CFRP and any combination of these materials.


Drilling

  • Conventional drilling
    • Ideal for producing large diameter or door
  • Orbital drilling
    • Produces burr free holes in Titanium as well as holes in any material combination
    • No swarf in closed structures
  • Drilling and riveting head
    • Allows drilling and immediate riveting of wet assemblies (i.e. through Interfay Adhesive)

Milling

  • Used to maintain smooth joint lines (Fettling) between key assemblies and surfaces


Spot Facing

  • Using outfacing heads to spot-face parts with single sided access only
